Current Job Description:

I am a midwife in central Kentucky. I provide full scope midwifery care including prenatal, birth,

postpartum, newborn, and well woman care. Responsibilities include prenatal risk assessment, nutrition

counseling, routine antenatal care, attending, monitoring and managing labor and birth, recommending

appropriate transfer of care when needed, managing the immediate newborn and postpartum period,

follow-up and newborn postpartum care, breastfeeding assistance, counseling and prescribing birth

control and routine well woman care as needed.
